About LocalKids

LocalKids was built by a Geelong parent who got frustrated spending hours searching Facebook groups, scrolling through outdated council websites, and calling businesses only to find the information wrong. There had to be a better way.

We set out to create the most useful, accurate and easy-to-use directory of kids activities in Australia — starting right here in Geelong, Victoria. Every listing is researched and verified. Every piece of contact information is checked. And we build tools to make sure it stays that way.

What we cover

From gymnastics and swimming to coding, dance, martial arts, holiday programs and free outdoor playgrounds — if it's a worthwhile activity for kids in your area, it belongs on LocalKids. We cover structured weekly classes, school holiday programs, one-off workshops and free community spaces.

Free to use, always

LocalKids is free for families. We never charge parents to browse listings or access contact details. We cover our costs through advertising and optional premium listings for providers who want to stand out and keep their information up to date.
