LocalKids (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a directory website helping Australian families find kids activities and programs. Our website address is https://localkids.com.au.
What information we collect
LocalKids does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to browse activity listings. We collect minimal data:
- Analytics data — We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, session duration, and approximate location (city level). This is collected via cookies. You can opt out by using a browser with ad-blocking or by declining our cookie notice.
- Advertising data — We display ads via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing history. You can manage your ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.
- Anonymous usage analytics — We record aggregate, non-identifying signals about how listings are used (e.g. which listings are viewed, roughly how long visitors spend on them, which sections they look at, and what people search for). This data is anonymous, is not linked to any individual, and is used only to give activity providers insight into demand. We do not track you across other websites.
- Contact form submissions — If you submit an activity via our “Add Your Business” form, we collect the information you provide (business name, contact details, description). This information is used solely to create a listing on LocalKids.

Our site uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense). These are third-party cookies governed by Google’s privacy policy. We do not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information.
How we use your information
We use information solely to operate and improve LocalKids. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g. hosting providers) or as required by law.
