Geelong Swimming Club Learn to Swim runs lessons for school-aged children from age 4 and up at the Christian College Geelong Sports & Aquatic Centre in Highton (18 Burdekin Road), using a 25m indoor pool plus a dedicated 9m childrens pool. Lessons follow Royal Life Saving Australias Swim and Survive curriculum, so kids work on stroke technique alongside vital water safety, survival and basic rescue skills. Classes are taught by the regions accredited swim teachers, many of them former competitive swimmers, and the club has expanded to a second site at the Handbury Centre in Corio. A strong choice for Highton families wanting safety-focused lessons with a clear progression for older beginners.
