About
Geelong Tech School on Latrobe Terrace is a free STEM technology hub (run with The Gordon) that delivers hands-on programs to students from its network of partner secondary schools, with most activities aimed at Years 7-12. Young people get access to state-of-the-art kit and projects like 3D printing and CAD, game design in Unreal Engine, app prototyping, podcasting, laser cutting, robotics and animation, plus career-focused immersions and Maker Faires. Special initiatives include Girls Leading Advanced Manufacturing (GLAM) and Girls in Physics events. Note that programs run through schools rather than as casual public classes, so access is usually via your child's school.
