Sports House sits inside the Kardinia Park precinct at GMHBA Stadium in central Geelong and has been the home base for state, national and local sporting bodies since 2005. While its memberships are aimed at sporting organisations and administrators, the surrounding Kardinia Park is a genuine family destination, with a kids' playground, running and walking track and outdoor fitness equipment alongside the Cats' home ground. Families are most likely to use the precinct's free public play and recreation spaces rather than Sports House itself.
