Tucked between the Barwon River and Pakington Street's cafe precinct in Newtown, The Loft has been a much-loved Geelong movement studio for over 23 years. It takes an embodied, holistic approach to dance and movement, offering ballet (from absolute beginner to advanced), contemporary, lyrical, jazz, barre, mat pilates, yoga and improvisation. Note that this is a specialist adult studio, so its classes are aimed at teens and grown-ups rather than young children, and it's home to resident company Blink Dance Theatre. A warm, inclusive option for older teens and parents wanting their own creative outlet.
