The Belmont Lions Sports Club is a much-loved community Australian Rules football and netball club that has played in the Geelong competition since 1965, with its home at Winter Reserve in Belmont. For kids it offers a full junior pathway, from Auskick for the youngest beginners through junior football grades (around under 10s to under 14s) and junior netball, so children can start young and grow within the one club. The grounds include two ovals with quality lighting, an enclosed netball court, a basketball half-court and a playground, making it an easy spot for the whole family on game day. A welcoming local club for Belmont families wanting their kids to play winter sport and be part of a community.
