About

The Geelong Art Society has nurtured the region’s artists for over 70 years from the historic Shearers Arms Gallery at 202 Aberdeen Street, Geelong West, which houses a purpose-built studio and four gallery rooms. It runs term-based classes and workshops across all mediums — including life drawing, portrait and outdoor painting groups — suitable for beginners through to advanced, plus changing exhibitions open to visitors year-round. A welcoming creative community for Geelong families and budding young artists keen to develop their skills.
