Established in 1932, Geelong Repertory Theatre Company is Victoria's longest-running amateur theatre group, performing from the intimate 77-seat Woodbin Theatre on Coronation Street in Geelong West. The company stages around five productions a year across a wide range of genres, all run entirely by volunteer actors, directors, stage managers and set builders. While it's a community theatre rather than a dedicated kids' academy, it offers wonderful hands-on opportunities for teens keen to act, direct or work backstage, and a great night out for budding young theatre-lovers in the audience.
