About

Bunjils Nest is a sprawling district-level playground on the corner of Sovereign Drive and Unity Drive in Mount Duneed, built around two huge elevated cubby nests linked by a tricky rope bridge with tunnel slides off each. Older kids can tackle the dual flying fox, in-ground trampolines, rope climbing frames, a small skate park, basketball court and a stand-on spinner, while toddlers have their own sandy zone with a digger, rabbit sculpture cave and stepping stumps. There are BBQs, sheltered picnic tables, toilets and the 9grams cafe right beside it, making it an easy half-day outing for families across the Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast area. It is very spread out, so worth noting if you are keeping an eye on several different-aged children at once.
