Escarpment Drive Playground in Fyansford is a well-equipped community park whose centrepiece is two play towers linked by a high rope tunnel, with a big twisting tunnel slide, rope and mesh ladders to climb, and interactive features like percussion pipes and an abacus inside. Younger kids will love the sandpit and sand-play structure, birds-nest swing, colourful buggy and climbing mound, while older ones can tackle the monkey rungs, basketball half-court and a gentle skatepark bowl with a grind bar. Shaded shelters with tables and a BBQ, toilets, a water tap and a big grassy area make it an easy spot for a family afternoon or birthday picnic in Geelong's west.
