RedCat Academy on Malop Street in central Geelong is the home academy of John Will, one of Australia's most respected martial arts coaches and among the first Australians to earn a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. For kids, the standout is the 'Mat Rats' junior grappling program, with junior classes running Monday to Thursday from 4:15pm to 5:30pm, alongside adult BJJ and Mixed Martial Arts. The quality of instruction draws students from across the region, and a four-class trial lets newcomers test the waters. A serious yet welcoming option for kids wanting to learn grappling from a genuinely world-class lineage.
