Seido Juku Geelong teaches traditional Japanese Seido karate in a welcoming, ego-free dojo where the focus is as much on calm, self-discipline and respect as it is on technique. Children aged 8 and above have their own dedicated classes on Monday and Thursday evenings (5.00-5.45pm), with separate adult, sparring and black belt classes, plus a monthly meditation session reflecting Seido's mind-body philosophy. All ages and abilities are welcome and students progress at their own pace through the coloured-belt (kyu) grades. Training takes place at the Wandana Heights Tennis Club, and newcomers can try two free classes before joining.
